November 22, 2004- Conference Call
Centers/Organizations Present:
Maryland, Michigan, West Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, GWU, McKinley and
Associates
Welcome:
David Holmes recognized all who were on the teleconference and welcomed
everyone to the conference call at approximately 12:05 p.m.
David asked Dr. Dew to review the reimbursement
status for the National Training Forum held in Washington in September. Dr. Dew reported that there were funding
transfer problems from the Rehabilitation Services Administration to GWU RRCEP which involved the
National Employment Conference and the NCSOCRC National Training Forum.
He reported that most all of the reimbursements have been made to individuals attending the Training
Forum and that he was working with a few individuals to resolve the remaining problems.

National Training Forum Proceedings:
Chairman Holmes then asked Carolyn McKinley of McKinley and Associates
to review the status of the Training Forum Proceedings Report.
She indicated the report is about half completed, but that there were
still additional clarifications that were needed especially regarding the
specifics of the charges and outcomes that were established for each track of
the conference. Carolyn stated
that she would complete the balance of the draft proceedings quickly and get
them to the center directors.
Following further discussion, it was determined that the track
coordinators would solicit their participants to obtain the necessary
information by telephone or video conference and then provide the information
at the next meeting of the NCSOCRC Directors for any further work and
finalization.
It was the feeling of the participants that the proceedings of the training forum needed to
be finalized ASAP so that the proceedings could distributed to the membership.

Next Meeting:
It was determined that the next meeting of the NCSOCRC Directors, would
be January 5, 2005, beginning at 12:00 Noon, all day January 6, 2005 and
January 7, 2005 until Noon.
Dr. Dew indicated that GWU would underwrite the costs of lunches and
travel costs.
The January meeting will be a working meeting with focus on finalizing
the proceedings of the Training Forum, future direction of the consortium,
funding for future national training forums and NCSOCRC strategic plan
initiatives.
Chairman Holmes and Dr. Dew will develop the agenda for the next
meeting. David also indicated that he would contact the Directors that were
absent and share the discussion points covered by today’s teleconference.
Meeting was adjourned by 12:55 p.m.
