The European Platform for Vocational Rehabilitation is an association of rehabilitation institutes that provide services in the area of vocational, medical and social rehabilitation for people with disabilities. The European Platform strives for the improvement of the position of individuals with disabilities in the labor market. The European Platform was first established in 1993 by rehabilitation centers in France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands. Later from 1994 onward centers in Ireland, Finland, Austria, the United Kingdom and Portugal joined the platform.
